9th Grade Academy Aug 7th-9th

 

Ninth Grade Academy will take place August 7, 8, and 9^th. It will go from 8:00-3:00 on August 7-8 at High Tech Early College. It will end on August 9^th at 1:30, so that our families can attend registration beginning at 2 on that day. Students must follow the DPS dress code and no cell phones are permitted during the academy in any capacity. Students at HTEC have a student phone to use in the Welcome Center for any calls to families. Any student with a cell phone will have it collected and secured during the day.

 

Ninth Grade Academy is the first step in becoming a high school student. This three-day culture setting event prepares students on what it means to be a student in an Early College specializing in a CareerConnect Pathway and what it means to join the Wolf Pack. Students get to meet their teachers, counselors, and administrators during this time. This is mandatory for all 9^th grade students. The principal will have two available times to meet with parents and guardians ONLY (no students are allowed) during the first day of the academy, beginning at 8:30AM or at 2:30PM depending on what works best for your schedules.
