Elizabeth Milligan was born in Denver, Colorado, and has spent most of her life here. She attended Lake Forest College in Chicago, Illinois, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in history and secondary education. She also spent a semester at American University, where she learned foreign policy and worked at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. Elizabeth is finishing her Master’s at Teacher’s College in Social Studies Education, is a James Madison Fellow, and currently serves as the president of the Colorado Council for Social Studies. She taught high school in Jeffco Public Schools, 8th grade at STRIVE Prep Federal, and joined the High Tech staff four years ago. She feels blessed to be a part of this wonderful community of students and families!
