Matthew Lapaire
Engineering Teacher

Matt Lapaire is from Wilmington, North Carolina and attended NC State University. Upon earning bachelor’s degrees in Chemical Engineering and Paper Science, he worked in the paper industry as a process engineer. He became a mathematics teacher at High Tech in 2014 after volunteer teaching in Zambia and working as a math fellow. He now teaches PLTW Engineering in the CareerConnect department and leads the robotics competition team.
